Flexeye’s founders share a passion for technology and a determination to win that goes back to their time together at Stowe School.
Flexeye was founded in 2005 by Justin Anderson, CEO and Richie Saville, CTO. Their aim was to build a technology company that could design and deploy large scale, complex technology systems with a degree of speed and flexibility that would keep those systems current and useable for a longer period of time than had ever been possible before.
The roots of the company, however, go all the way back to Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, U.K. – not unknown for producing visionary entrepreneurs – where Justin and Richie met in 1980. There they learned to program innovative software games in the progressive computing centre and developed a keen competitive edge playing together for a rugby team that was unbeaten for two straight years.
Justin and Richie’s business partnership is founded on a passion for technology and a desire to win.
On leaving Stowe, Justin turned over his first £1 million before graduating in Mathematics in 1989, while Richie headed off to Silicon Valley where he co-founded Evolve software, an enterprise software vendor that pioneered a new application market. Evolve was listed on NASDAQ in 2000 with a valuation of $1bn.
Justin and Richie stayed in touch across the Atlantic and continued to collaborate when their now professional interests in technology coincided. When Richie left Evolve to return to Europe he and Justin came together as business partners and the idea for Flexeye was born. The first step was the creation of the Flexeye Engine.
Shortly after founding Flexeye, Justin and Richie secured the worldwide license to distribute their new Engine’s patented technology through Symantec Corporation, the world’s largest security software company. Global corporations and government agencies adopted the Flexeye Engine to manage intelligence about the security of their operations.
On those strong foundations Flexeye built partnerships with leading global consulting firms and technology companies who now support the design and deployment of Flexeye’s systems.
Flexeye has offices in the USA, UK and India. The company employs a global team of highly skilled developers, consultants and system analysts.
Flexeye Technology Ltd is privately owned.
